The Grand Challenge Scholars Program at UMBC provides student of all majors opportunities to get involved in Research, Global Perspectives, Interdisciplinary, Service, and Entrepreneurship experiences to help scholars expand their outlooks and develop skills necessary to accomplish the National Academy of Engineering’s (NAE) Grand Challenges, 14 goals for solving issues faced in the 21st century.
